This piece is inspired by Van Gogh’s Starry Night. That restless, luminous sky alive with motion and feeling. I wanted to explore how the overshot structure could echo those swirling rhythms, the sense of energy held within calm.

Through layered pattern and shifting colour, the cloth traces light moving across darkness. Stars turning, air rippling, the world breathing beneath them. It’s a weaving of emotion and structure, where thread meets brushstroke and the night seems almost to move.
