This piece was inspired by a pheasant caught in the low evening sun. A moment when light turned its feathers to jewels, gleaming with every colour of the rainbow. It was one of those fleeting glances that stay with you, where the ordinary suddenly becomes radiant.

I wanted the weaving to hold that play of light and richness of colour. Deep golds, russets, greens, and blues shifting together in harmony. The structure and yarns catch the glow, a celebration of light, and the small wonders that transform the everyday.
